Catch 22

It’s important to realize that hackers have only two options when it comes to email phishing links:

  1. Send you to a fake site that looks identical to the real site.
  2. First send you to a browser hijacker before sending you to the real site. (So they can record your login credentials while you are at the real site; or drop trojan malware onto your computer before sending you to the real site.)

That’s it. Those are the two email phishing link attacks. Now let’s see how the new PhishViewer patent fully stops both attacks – finally putting an end to this particular type of hacking.

With PhishViewer, each time you click an email link:

  • PhishViewer shows you the final destination.
  • PhishViewer also shows you the owner of the final destination (or lets you know if the owner is anonymous).

Your device doesn’t visit any sites during PhishViewer’s analysis. Therefore, if the final destination isn’t who you expected then you stayed 100% safe. You completely avoided attack #1.

If the final destination is who you expect then PhishViewer takes you straight there. You don’t visit any of the other links in the path. In other words, you don’t need to worry if any of the other links are malicious or not, because you simply don’t visit them anyway. PhishViewer ingeniously takes you straight to the final destination, completely bypassing any possibility of attack #2. (See video above for a real-world demonstration.)

You can sign up an entire company or personal account in less than 60 seconds with our free, no obligation, 30-day trial. There is no limit to the number of employees who can use PhishViewer during the trial period.
